A compassionate anesthesiologist and critical care specialist, GMC registered with a successful background and ample practical experience of administrating anesthesia during pediatric and adult surgeries. Committed to engaged patient care and comfort during medical operations, including pre-op and post-op treatments and have provided my anesthetic services on variety of pediatric cases including pyloromyotomies, anorectal malformations, Tracheo-esophageal fistulas, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, major urological thoracotomies and inguinal surgeries. Specialized in administering caudal blocks in children for management of acute pain and administering anesthesia for major scoliosis correction cases (more than a single case every week).
Wasim has ample experience of working in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) within and outside Kashmir. Having expertise in Critical Care Services, he was engaged in delivering multiple services at ICUs of the health institutes wherever he worked so far. It include super-Specialty institutions like Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS, Srinagar); Max Super-Specialty Hospital (Saket, New Delhi) and Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital (SMHS, Srinagar).
